The Librarian

The Librarian is Texas-born and New England-based. Raised in a family of civil attorneys, she  watched Agatha Christie’s Poirot during family movie night and sneaked in many episodes of A&E’s Cold Case Files at Grandma’s house.

The Librarian loves both the mystery genre and true-crime not only because of the inherent drama, but because these stories represent the human attempt to frame chaos with a narrative and the human hope that somewhere, just somewhere, justice might prevail.

The Cat

The Cat has mysterious origins and prefers not to talk about her past. Recently adopted by the Librarian, her Witness Protection Program name is “Sassy.” The Cat assists the Librarian’s research by sitting under her desk chair and being quietly supportive.

The Cat’s passions are hiding under the couch, exposing the abuse of animals, chasing string, and pondering the mystery of evil.
