On this 15th observance of the September 11 attacks, I offer thoughts and prayers for all those affected, particularly to first-responders who suffer long-term illnesses of body and spirit.

I also pray for peace in the world and understanding between all peoples. I pray that the fear and sorrow of that day will cease to be the catalyst for attacks on American Muslims and Americans of Middle-Eastern descent. 

I remain convinced that love will triumph over evil, and that it alone endures through time.
